Story Telling x DIY Christmas Hanging Wreath for Preschoolers

With positive feedback from the previous preschooler event, we have decided to hold a reading-and-handcraft workshop specifically for young kids. In the one-hour workshop, the talented creators Ô Fil de Lau will take us on a journey into the story of "2000 ans de sagesse : une aventure d'Abi le singe (2000 Years of Wisdom: An Adventure of Abi the Monkey)".

Accompanied by the author Karine Yoakim Pasquier, and through the traditional Japanese art kamishibai (紙芝居), children will dive into the story's universe - narrated in French and in English. Following this, they will have the opportunity to unleash their creative spirit by designing their very own Christmas hanging wreath (la couronne de Noël) under professional guidance. Inspired by the delightful story of Abi the Monkey, these wreaths will incorporate elements that make the adventure come alive.

If your kids are eager to combine the joy of reading with the excitement of crafting a unique Christmas decoration, don't miss out on this chance to ignite their passion for reading and nurture their artistic talents in an unforgettable workshop experience!

All AF students and members can enjoy a special discount code "AFHK2023" when ordering the books on their website.

About the Book

When Abi's friends embark on an excursion to the beautiful city of Xi'an without taking her with them, she does not hesitate for a second... She too will experience great adventures. She then sets off to conquer this immense city... and she will have an encounter that will change the course of her existence.

This storybook is going to introduce the specificities of Shaanxi Province in China: Mount Huashan, its fauna and in particular the races of monkeys that inhabit it, the city of Xi'an, the terracotta soldiers.
